• Microfiber (microfibre) - what does this mean? 

The microfibers are artificially created very thin fibers, usually polyester or polyamide. If we compare the silk fiber is 2 times more subtle than three times the fiber of cotton, eight times from wool and 100 times finer than human hair. The products produced from microfiber is incredibly soft to the touch and very lightweight. The fabrics also have wonderful ntraparisma. 
The microfiber is less than 1.0 denier (9.000 meters from one of 1 denier fiber weighs 1 gr). 

• What does this mean for a quilt?  

It is very light as a feather, soft so it hugs the body, and is extremely hot. 
It is easy to use because it is machine washable.
